Colorful Daegu Festival

This Weekend: Snag Some Fresh MESH Prints and Party With Angle Magazine

Angle Magazine, created in Ulsan last year to highlight artistic talent in Korea's southern cities, will be celebrating its first anniversary this weekend in Daegu. The group has already pulled off two parties in Ulsan and Busan, saving Daegu (the best?) for last.

7 bands will be celebrating with Angle Mag at Jeng-iy Collective this Saturday, October 11th. Of course, Angle is offering more than just music. There will be live projector drawing, video art, and a polaroid photobooth to help raise money for Daegu's Time to Give.

It all starts at 8pm and is only 5,000 won to get in. Check out the facebook event by clicking the flyer above for more details including a map to Jeng-iy Collective.

If you're planning to be downtown at all this weekend you won't be able to miss the Colorful Daegu Festival. There will be booths, parades and music on the main drag. We at [b]racket think one particular booth is not to be missed: The MESH Printing guys Jess Hinshaw and Chris Cote will be selling prints and creating thumb print drawings the whole weekend. So before heading to Jeng-iy Collective, be sure to wander by the MESH Printing booth. Here's a taste of the new prints the MESH guys have been working on and will have available this weekend.
