Eun Ji Ryu has got to be one of our favorite artists. We showcased her work way back in January 2013 and have been following her ever since. There is no shortage of work from the artist, and you are going to have to bear with me here, I'm gonna go link crazy.
I guess the best place to start is her website. You can find her stuff in the bizarre Aer Editions zines (nice samples here and here), which are usually available at The Pollack. They also carry some of her other zines and self published materials like postcards. All of that is in Daegu, but if you are in Seoul you can also find her work at Artwork Black Cube, a nifty little spot that supports unknown badasses like herself. She even finds time to help the [b]racket staff out with a little translation every now in then. The girl has her fingers in a lot of pies.
The main reason for this post though is to invite you all to her solo show, Your Ghost, which opened on Wednesday (the 23rd). It's up at a quaint gallery in Seoul called Studio Vitrine. You can find her work in the Instant Roof, which is part of the larger Studio Vitrine. Eun Ji has ventured out from the familiar flat work and is experimenting with some installation work. Her work will be on display until the 30th.
