[b] list, Baby!

[b] list Takes the World By Storm / Critics Rave: [b] list is the Best ... Well, maybe there aren't any newspapers with thrilling headlines about [b]racket's first gallery show, but, honestly, things couldn't have gone better. Thanks to all you rad people who came out to the opening, the mountain of hard work put in by our staff, our artists, and the wonderful people at Keimyung University, [b] list's opening was an incredible success. On Saturday evening, The Black Gallery was humming with the sounds of art being discussed, people making connections, and minds expanding. It's a rare thing to be able to ask artists those questions of "Why?" and "How?" when viewing pieces of their art. We were tickled pink that so many of the artists in the show were able to come, giving viewers the opportunity to pick their brains a bit. We were also very lucky to be able to see a one-time performance piece by Luis Arreguin called Memory. It explored themes of birth and innocence, maturity and industry, and eventual regret.  Photos from the opening can be seen on our Facebook page.

Didn't get a chance to come to the opening? No worries! [b] list is still up! But you've got to hurry. The show closes this coming Saturday at 3 pm. The Black Gallery is open from 9-5 every day until then. Directions and maps are here!

Thank you again to all of the artists, Keimyung University, and everyone who came out and had a look at some amazing art. We couldn't have done it with out all of you. Cheers.
